After the ceremony the wedding party and I cruised together in a party bus down to Noerenberg Gardens for a few fun wedding party shots. Thunder and lightening let us know we had just a matter of moments before it was going to downpour on us but it held out long enough to catch some great storm clouds in the background.
Reception was held at the Crowne Plaza in Brooklyn Center. EJ & Ryan have a ton of people that supported them. They received touching speeches from the maid of honors and hilarious speeches from the best men. (I was taking notes in preparation to make a speech at my sister's wedding next summer!) When glass clinking started the newlyweds made their guests work for a kiss. A table was randomly picked to answer a question about the couple. If the table got the question wrong someone at the table had to kiss instead! It was a great way to get to know the couple more and get the guests involved.
So, I was attempting to not eat wedding cake this season....well that lasted an entire two weddings. It was so yummy! Thanks EJ & Ryan for an unbelievable day of photos!
